The title absolutely makes it for me. The shot is gorgeous, of course: crisp focus, perfect contrast. But the first thing I thought of when I saw it was a Tiffany lamp, so you get a for being an amazing artist AND a mind-reader.
I use nik for my sharpening and usually when I go real large, I try to step it up in baby steps. I have a photo shot with the 50d that is covering the whole hood of my car and cropped on the long side. . it's 50" wide.
I usually step up in 5-10% increments.There are some other ways to do it and depending on your software there are tricks. Here is one way to do it. [link] Just do a search and find the one that works for you. Biggest thing you have to concern yourself is noise. If there is noise in the original it will amplify as you invrease the size
